Apple Intelligence Expected to Arrive on Vision Pro with April Update

Apple is set to bring Apple Intelligence to its Vision Pro headset with the visionOS 2.4 update, which could be released as early as April 2025, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. A developer version of the update is expected to roll out this week.

The AI-powered features, including Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground, are set to enhance the mixed reality experience on Vision Pro. However, an upgraded Siri will not be part of this initial rollout. Gurman reports that Apple’s long-awaited Siri improvements have faced engineering challenges and delays due to ongoing bugs and technical issues.
Apple first unveiled Apple Intelligence in June 2024, signaling its push into AI-driven experiences. The company has been working to optimize these tools for spatial computing, ensuring seamless integration into the Vision Pro ecosystem.
With this update, Apple aims to expand AI functionalities beyond iPhones and Macs, making the Vision Pro a more powerful and versatile device. More details are expected as developers begin testing the software in the coming weeks.
