Corrective Exercise mobile application
In the pursuit of peak physical performance and health, the precision of one’s exercise form is paramount.
Problem: In the realm of fitness and athletics, improper exercise form can lead to movement compensations and imbalances, adversely affecting posture, balance, and overall body coordination. These issues not only hinder performance but also increase the risk of injury. Athletes, regardless of their experience level, often struggle with maintaining correct body pose alignments during their training sessions.
Solution: To address these challenges, we have developed a corrective exercise mobile application for the Android platform. The application employs advanced pose estimation algorithms to detect the user’s skeletal structure in real time. It then assesses the vector geometry of the user’s pose during exercises, comparing it to a professional’s reference, to provide immediate and actionable feedback. By analyzing the angles between limb pairs, the app identifies deviations from the ideal form and suggests corrective measures.
Outcome: The Corrective Exercise application has revolutionized the way athletes train independently. It has empowered them to self-correct their form, ensuring exercises are performed accurately and efficiently. This not only enhances the quality of movement in workouts but also in daily activities, reducing the stress on the body and the likelihood of future injuries. The app’s innovative approach to fostering proper alignment and functional movement has set a new standard in personal training technology.
